Set on the Vancouver skyline, Michelle and Aaron celebrated their special day surrounded by loved ones and danced into the night at The Polygon Gallery. With first encounters at their alma mater Simon Fraser University, the pair began as friends and swiftly blossomed into something more.

The beautiful contemporary feel of the polygon allowed the couple to create a ceremony and reception that was authentic to them. Crisp white walls and high ceilings set the perfect blank slate to highlight their elegant table settings, floral decor, and bobba bar bringing the couple's dream wedding together. With the pair’s best friend singing them down the aisle, they couldn't have asked for a more personalized celebration.

Michelle captured the modern artistic aesthetic of the gallery with our TXTS gown by Newhite. With a fitted skirt to highlight the body's figure and an airy pleated tulle overskirt giving the illusion of an a-line silhouette. Best of both worlds!

Michelle’s Advice for brides searching for their gowns: “Choosing a dress was unexpectedly very hard on my self esteem. I found that most of the sample dress sizes didn't fit me that well and often left the shops very discouraged and hard on myself. I almost settled on a dress I felt only okay with when I decided to go to Rituals of Love. Only when you put on the right dress do you finally understand what "the one" feels like. Next thing I knew we were popping champagne and my mom was crying. If you feel similarly to me, just know you're not alone and when you finally get the dress measured to your body, you will feel absolutely beautiful as you should.”
