Our boutique is located in the Gastown district at 273 Columbia Street in Vancouver(Columbia & Cordova). If you're arriving by any car services such as Taxi, Uber, etc. please add our address instead of the studio name "Rituals of Love" to arrive to our unit.

We are located on the ground floor. There is street parking available or a number of garages within a block. If you are having troubles finding us please call 604-974-5800.

We recommend you start dress shopping 9-12 months before your wedding and to be ready to purchase when you find one you love. This is the ideal timeline however we know not everything in life is timed so please drop us an email or give us a call to work on an appointment date for you.  

Yes, we are an appointment only bridal boutique. In order to ensure we give you the attention and experience necessary our fittings need to be scheduled.  Our private bridal appointments allow a full hour with a stylist in our gorgeous studio. Yes, we allow champagne!

We understand it can be hard to make a decision during you first appointment, so you are more then welcome to come back for a follow up appointment. However, we will charge a $75 fee per appointment after your third appointment unless a gown has been purchased.

Please use our online scheduler on our Booking Appointment page. We are available for appointments Tuesday through Sunday. Initial bridal styling appointments are an hour long and follow-up bridal styling appointments are 45 minutes. Please contact us if you would like to try on veils, jewellery and bridal accessories online or via your bridal appointments or dress pick ups. We ask that you please arrive on time for your appointment, not early or late, as we need to be respectful of all our brides appointment times.

A majority of our made-to-order gowns are anywhere from $3,000 - $5,000 ranging up to $10,000 however, we have plenty of Sample Sale gowns for brides on a tighter timeline or budget starting at $1,000. Veils and accessories range from $100 - $900.

Our dress samples range from sizes 6-20 in our studio with a majority in the size 8-14 range, however our custom gowns can be ordered up to a size 24, depending on designers.

Please note bridal sizing is a bit different than street sizing but a general estimation of your current size will help us gather the appropriate samples.

We know that sample sizes fit everyone differently so we try our best to keep a variety of styles to accomodate various body types. Feel free to send us an email or give us a call to discuss sizing in more detail and or to get a better idea of how our appointments work.

This is an experience for you to remember, bring the people you love and want to share it with or keep it intimate and focused. Remember opinions can sway you from going with your gut, it is important to listen to your self and bring people who who make you feel good! This should be a happy experience and a very memorable part of your wedding journey.

We recommend nude underwear or shape wear and a nude backless or strapless bra. It is also nice to have a pair of shoes similar in height to the ones you want to wear on your wedding day.

Congratulations, these are the moments to enjoy! When you find your dress, we will take your measurements to your closest general dress size and order from our designers.

Our gowns are currently all made-to-order (meaning the making of the gown begins once you place the order) with different lead times up to 8 months. When your dress arrives we will have you pick it up and recommend alterations to have it fit to you perfectly.

Alterations are NOT included in the price of your dress and range based in what you need to get done, typically ranging from $400-700 so make sure to account for time to do minor alterations with a seamstress 1-2 months prior to the wedding.

Simply put, sample gowns are gowns that have been tried on in store, are in great condition and are available for immediate purchase. More often than not, last minute brides are why we have many sample options for sale all year round; their heavily discounted prices also appeal to brides on a budget. 

Our sample gowns typically range from a size 6-14 however they can be altered down to fit your body perfectly. We do not recommend altering up to larger sizes.

Zippers, minor holes and slight beading loss can easily be repaired during the alterations process. Alterations generally cost $400-$700, so please factor that in when making your purchase. Dry cleaning will be needed for some sample gowns and we have excellent cleaners to recommend in order to bring these beauties back to life!
