A Note on Sample Gowns
Many of the gowns you'll find here are pieces we fell in love with for their design, craftsmanship, or fashion-forward perspective. They may not have been our bestsellers, but that's often exactly why we chose them.
As collections evolve, we occasionally need to make room for new arrivals. Rather than letting beautiful gowns sit on the rack, we offer them at exceptional value for the bride with an open mind, a vision, and an appreciation for finding something a little different.
It's important to remember that every wedding gown—whether purchased new or as a sample—requires alterations. In our experience, this is where the magic happens. Small changes can dramatically improve the fit, transform the silhouette, or make a gown feel entirely your own.
Many sample gowns look completely different on a bride than they do on a hanger or in a photograph. Sometimes the gown everyone overlooks becomes the one that no one can stop talking about.
For brides considering a custom project, many of these gowns feature exceptional fabrics and construction that would be difficult to replicate at their sale price.
Sizing & Alterations
Most of our sample gowns range from sizes 6–14, with a limited selection available in sizes 16–20. In many cases, gowns can be altered down several sizes to achieve a beautiful fit. We generally do not recommend purchasing a gown that would require significant sizing up.
Alterations are not included in the purchase price and typically range from $400–$800 depending on the gown and the changes required. We encourage all brides to factor alterations into their overall budget when shopping any bridal gowns new or sampled.
Like New: Ready to wear with little to no signs of wear.
Excellent: May require very minor repairs or spot cleaning.
Good: May require repairs and/or professional dry cleaning.
Needs Some Love: Will require more extensive repairs, restoration, or cleaning.
