COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS

We have recently lifted restrictions on appointment size back to our usual 4 guest to join the bride during her appointment. This means 5 people maximum are allowed during an appointment. 

We have to adhere to appointment times in order to leave enough time to sanitize the studio prior to each fitting

Lastly, it goes without saying, if you are sick, think you are getting sick or have been in contact with anyone who might have or have had Covid-19 please reschedule your appointment we are extremely accommodating and you will not be charged for needing to reschedule if you are sick.

NOTE:

Due to an overwhelming demand, and the personal nature of our appointments we are now charging a $20 appointment fee for weekend appointments. Should you purchase a gown, this can be put toward any made-to-order gown purchased on the day of the first appointment.

Cancellations at least 24 hours before appointments are refundable.

For any no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of appointments there is a $100 cancellation fee.

Where are we located?

Our boutique is located in Vancouver’s Gastown district at 309 West Cordova Street (Cordova and Cambie). We are located on the 2nd floor – unit 216. There is street parking available or a number of garages within a block.  Once you arrive, you will see a a curved black door in between TimberTrain Coffee and the Greedy Pig, head up to the second floor, turn right and you will find us in the last door on your left.

Note* Our doors are locked after 5pm and on weekdays, if you are scheduled for an appointment on these times please call 604-974-5800 we will be down to let you up. 

When should I begin dress shopping?

We recommend you start dress shopping 9-12 months before your wedding and to be ready to purchase when you find one you love. This is the ideal timeline however we know not everything in life is timed so please drop us an email or give us a call to work on an appointment date for you.  

Do I need an appointment to try on dresses?

Yes, we are an appointment only bridal boutique. In order to ensure we give you the attention and experience necessary our fittings need to be scheduled.  Our private bridal appointments allow a full hour with a stylist in our gorgeous studio.

How many appointments can I have?
We understand it can be hard to make a decision during you first appointment, so you are more then welcome to come back for a follow up appointment. However, we will charge a $75 fee per appointment after your third appointment unless a gown has been purchased.

Please use our online scheduler on our Book Appointment page.  We are available for appointments Tuesday through Sunday.

Initial bridal styling appointments are an hour long and follow-up bridal styling appointments are 45 minutes. Please contact us if you would like to try on veils, we are now selling jewelry and bridal accessories online or via your bridal appointments or dress pick ups. We ask that you please arrive on time for your appointment, not early or late, as we need to be respectful of all our brides appointment times.

What is the price and size range of our gowns?

Our made-to-order gowns range from $1500-$6500, with the majority of our gowns being in the $2500-$4500 range. Our veils and accessories range from $100-$900.

Our dress samples range from a size 6-12, however our custom gowns can be ordered up to a size 20, depending on designer. We will be getting a variety of Theia gowns in sizes 14-16 by the end of August 2021. Please note bridal sizing is a bit different than street sizing but a general estimation of your current size will help us gather the appropriate samples.

Who and what to bring:

This is an experience for you to remember, bring the people you love and want to share it with or keep it intimate and focused. Remember opinions can sway you from going with your gut, it is important to listen to your self and bring people who who make you feel good! This should be a happy experience and a very memorable part of your wedding journey.

We recommend nude underwear or shape wear and a nude backless or strapless bra. It is also nice to have a pair of shoes similar in height to the ones you want to wear on your wedding day.

Ordering a dress and alterations?

Congratulations, these are the moments to enjoy! When you find your dress we will size you and order your dress.  Our gowns are currently all made-to-order (meaning the making of the gown begins once you place the order) with different lead times up to 8 months. When your dress arrives we will have you pick it up and recommend alterations to have it fit to you perfectly. Alterations are not included in the price of your dress and range based in what you need to get done, typically they range from $250 - $500.  Our designer’s gowns are ordered to your closest general dress size, which is based on your measurements.
